DEDTC provides consultation and education with a registered dietician for various disorders affecting nutrient balance. A registered dietician works closely with our patients with diabetes to provide dietary support and carbohydrate counting. We offer consultation for obesity and weight gain, including evaluation for bariatric surgery. We also provide testing for vitamin deficiencies and replacement recommendations for patients who have undergone bariatric surgery or have malabsoption problems due to other medical conditions.
